What the messages are
Divers Tech Service sends text messages to customers about the equipment they left with us for service and about what they bought from us. That means: confirmation that we received your gear, what it needs and what it will cost, a notice when the work is finished and it is ready for pickup, appointment reminders, shipping notices, and receipts. We do not send marketing blasts, and we do not text anyone who has not asked us to.
How you opt in
You opt in by ticking the consent box on our repair intake form — online at diverstechservices.com or on the same form at our counter. The box is not ticked for you, and it reads:
“I agree to receive text messages from Divers Tech Service about my repair, including status updates and pickup notices. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of service.”
Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service. If you do not want texts, we will call or email you instead, and nothing about your repair changes.
How often
Message frequency varies — it depends on what you left with us. A typical repair is two to four messages from drop-off to pickup.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you for the messages; your mobile carrier may, according to your own plan.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message and we will stop texting you, from that number, straight away. You will get one confirmation message and nothing after it. You can also tell any of our staff and we will untick the box for you. To start again, tick the box on your next intake form or ask us.

Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Not all mobile devices or carriers support these messages.
Your privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. The full policy is on our Privacy Policy page.
